The World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS) is the
largest voluntary movement dedicated to girls and young women in the
world. It has Member Organizations in 145 countries, with 10 million
Girl Guides and Girl Scouts around the world.
The World Association supports girls and young women to develop confidence and life skills through self- development, challenge and adventure. Girl Guides and Girl Scouts are leaders who speak out on issues important to them, making a difference in their communities both locally and globally.
This is an exciting opportunity based in WAGGGS' European Office in Brussels. The paid intern will work with staff, volunteers, Member Organisations and Partner Organisations to deliver high quality learning events and influence policies and recommendations which support the development and growth of Girl Guiding and Girl Scouting in Europe. This will be an opportunity to learn and develop skills in project co-ordination, events administration and communications in an international context.
We are looking for a highly motivated team player, with strong organisational and analytical skills and an ability to address provide high quality support and address challenges they face in delivery. You may have experience of Guiding and Girl Scouting or at least a passion for the difference it can make to girls and young women. You will be fluent in English and French.
