CSC Imperial Scholarships for Study in Imperial College London, United Kingdom

If you would like to study in Imperial College London, United Kingdom and pursue Full Time Phd Program in any Subject you can avail CSC Imperial Scholarships which is being offered by China Scholarship Council (CSC).
This is a Phd Program Merit Based Scholarship and students are eligible from International Student (Hong Kong or Taiwan are not eligible) to apply for the same. Only 15 such awards are being offered and the deadline for application is 31-Jan-15.
This Scholarship will Offer you:-

• International tuition fees.
• Maintenance allowance equal to Imperial’s minimum stipend allowance in any given year.  For 2014/1, this is £15,863 per year.
• Up to £1,000 per year to attend conferences and cover other costs associated with their Phd.
• One economy class return journey to China Scholarships will support either three years of study for a PhD or four years in certain cases where the student is required to undertake a one year postgraduate degree prior to beginning their Phd for 2 Year.

Eligibility:	Chinese students with a strong academic background. Students must hold a PR Chinese passport (applicants from Hong Kong or Taiwan are not eligible). Applicants can either be resident in China at the time of application or studying overseas. Students with prior experience of studying overseas (including in the UK) are eligible to apply.  Chinese Imperial graduates/Masters students are therefore eligible for the scheme. Successful scholarship applicants are required to return to China for a period of 2 years after completing their PhD.
Important Information:	The CSC Imperial Scholarship Panel will produce a list of 15 students to be recommended for a CSC Imperial Scholarship. Please note: The CSC will not accept any application that is conditional upon English. Students will be informed of the progress of their scholarship application and whether they have been selected as one of 15 potential scholarship recipients. The selected students are then required to apply online to CSC between 20 March-5 April 2015 Between April and June, CSC will review and approve the scholarships. After this, students will be informed of the final outcome of their application and issued with a formal CSC Imperial Scholarship letter. Upon fulfilling any outstanding requirements for admission to a PhD programme (for example, provision of a satisfactory Masters qualification result if necessary, and arranging visas and travel), CSC Imperial scholars will commence their PhD programme in October.

Once all the information has been received by China Scholarship Council (CSC) and the assessment of the submitted documents is complete, you will be informed about your selection in the same.
