STAGIAIRE – POLITICAL COMMUNICATIONS AND DIGITAL MEDIA Burson-Marsteller

Are you passionate about digital technologies and social media’s ability to change society?  Are you keen to support organisations in their political communications strategies?
At Burson-Marsteller Brussels we recognise the power of the new technologies and new media (alongside the traditional media).  Today social media is increasingly a part of good public affairs.
Where do you see yourself in five years?
At a company that defines key trends in its industry, from evidence-based political communications to being a strong advocate for transparency?  Advising clients and working on the issues shaping our future?  Or perhaps just waking up each day to be part of the future of our continent.
At Burson-Marsteller Brussels, those dreams are our reality. We are looking to offer an opportunity to discover whether a career in public affairs, digital or integrated political communications is right for you. We are seeking a candidate with strong political and communications skills and a passion for new technologies and media, who is interested in challenging work and a dynamic career.

Required skills/experience:
  • Great understanding of the EU institutions and the EU policymaking process
  • Experience of using digital technologies and new media at work and/or socially (e.g. for a political party, youth organisation, stage, etc.)
  • Excellent written communications skills (good English is also essential)
  • Creative and bubbling with ideas
  • Working knowledge of Excel (know how to use pivot tables, for instance)
  • Team player
