2014 Informatics International Masters Scholarships at University of Edinburgh in UK

University of Edinburgh offers 10 Informatics International Masters Scholarships in the field of Artificial Intelligence, Cognitive Science, Computer Science and Informatics. The scholarships will be awarded to international (non-EU) students who are accepted for admission on a full-time basis for an eligible postgraduate Master’s programme. International (non-EU) students can apply for these scholarships. Each Scholarship will have a value of £2,000 and will be tenable for one academic year. The application deadline is 1 April 2014.
About Scholarship: The School of Informatics will offer up to 10 Master’s scholarships for the 2013-2014 academic session. Each will have a value of £2,000 and will be tenable for one academic year. International (non-EU) students can apply for these scholarships.

Eligibility: -The scholarships will be awarded to international (non-EU) students who are accepted for admission on a full-time basis for an eligible postgraduate Master’s programme.
-The scholarship will be awarded broadly on the basis of academic merit. Candidates must have, or expect to obtain, a UK first class or 2:1 honours degree at undergraduate level or the international equivalent.
-In addition to the above academic qualifications, the selection panel will also take into account the financial circumstances of applicants to ensure that as far as possible a student’s financial situation does not impede a university education. The scholarships will be awarded to international (non-EU) students who are accepted for admission on a full-time basis for an eligible postgraduate Master’s programme.

Scholarship Open for: International (non-EU) students can apply for these scholarships.
Number of awards: 10 scholarships will be offered.
Duration: Scholarships will be offered for one academic year.
Value: Each Scholarship will have a value of £2,000 and will be tenable for one academic year.
Selection Criteria: The scholarship will be awarded broadly on the basis of academic merit.
Notification: A Selection Committee will meet in May 2014 to select the scholarship holders. The winners of the scholarships will be announced in late May 2014.
