The University of Hull is offering 20 full-time UK/EU PhD scholarships
or international fees bursaries for candidates applying for the areas
within the University’s Research Themes, including other areas
disciplines. Applicants must have expected to hold a minimum of a UK
upper second class Honours degree or equivalent, in an appropriate
discipline. Scholarships cover fees at the ‘home/EU’ student and
International student rate as well as maintenance (£13,726 in 2014/15)
for three years, depending on satisfactory progress. Application
deadline is 3rd February 2014.

Education and Social Justice;
Environmental Ethics;
Forced Marriage;
Global Slavery;
Humanitarian Logistics;
Liberty and Security;
Medical Ethics;
Migration;
Technology, Innovation and Ethics;

-To be eligible for these awards, applicants must demonstrate in their proposal that their research draws upon insights from more than one discipline. Supervision will be provided jointly by a minimum of two researchers from different disciplines.
-Applicants will be expected to hold a minimum of a UK upper second class Honours degree, or equivalent, in an appropriate discipline.
