2014 PhD Studentship in the School of Forensic and Investigative Sciences in UK and France

UCLan and the University of Reims Champagne-Ardenne (URCA) are awarding PhD studentship in the school of Forensic and Investigative Sciences. Applicants should have an undergraduate or postgraduate in a relevant discipline. A strong interest in analytical chemistry (spectroscopy) is essential. The studentship will cover the cost of tuition fees for UK/EU residents plus a maintenance grant. The grant will be paid by UCLan for 18 months of the studentship and for the French 18 months of the studentship by the University of Reims Champagne-Ardenne at a rate of 16,320 Euros per annum. 31st January 2014 is the application deadline.
About Scholarship: Applications are invited for a full-time PhD studentship in the School of Forensic and Investigative Sciences. The studentship is jointly funded by UCLan and the University of Reims Champagne-Ardenne (URCA) in France. The studentship is tenable for up to 3 years for a PhD (via MPhil route) [subject to satisfactory progress]. The successful candidate will be based at the University of Central Lancashire for the first 12 months and will then be required to spend the following 18 months in the Department of Pharmacy at the University of Reims Champagne-Ardenne in France before returning to UCLan for the final 6 months.
