The Global Off-Grid Lighting Association (GOGLA) has been established to act as the industry advocate with a focus on small and medium enterprises. It is a neutral, independent, not-for-profit association created to promote lighting solutions that benefit society and businesses in developing and emerging markets. GOGLA is seeking a motivated intern holding at least a Bachelor degree related to international development /energy access /environmental studies/ business development to support the GOGLA Secretariat. The Secretariat serves the role of facilitator, coordinator, representative and fund raiser of the association.
You will work in an international and dynamic environment. The tasks will include compiling technical information, conducting research, developing reports and synthesis notes, participation in working groups, developing communication tools (updating website, association management) and providing general administration support to activities and projects of the GOGLA Secretariat.
Candidates for the internship should be available for 6 months. Understanding, experience and interest in international development and strong analytical skills are prerequisites. Solid knowledge of website content management and MS office are required. A high proficiency of spoken and written English is also essential. Knowledge of other languages is considered an asset. We are seeking for a candidate with strong analytical and social skills.
The internship is remunerated.
