University of Oxford offers 5 – 7 scholarships to undertake study
or research in another European country. Up to £6,500 will be available
for three months to one year depending on duration and costs of planned
study abroad. The scholarship will cover the cost of standard tuition or
registration fees at the host institution if declared in the
application. It is expected that students will continue to be registered
for a degree at Oxford during the period of their study
abroad. Successful candidates will be required to obtain the approval of
their college to study away from Oxford and where applicable, must also
obtain dispensation from residence from their faculty board.
About Scholarship: The Scatcherd Scholarships are funded by an extremely generous benefaction from the late Mrs Jane Ledig-Rowohlt (nee Scatcherd), widow of the German publisher, Mr Heinrich Ledig-Rowohlt. The scholarships allow students to undertake study or research worldwide.
