Internship at EUROCHAMBRES
EUROCHAMBRES is offering a unique professional experience to young graduates keen to gain first hand experience of the EU policy making environment. An internship position is vacant starting 3 March 2014 in the European Affairs Department, for a period of three months, renewable once for up to a further three months. The intern will receive a gross allowance of 750 € plus luncheon vouchers.What does the internship involve?
- Support in the preparation of EU project proposals;
- Support in the delivery of EU projects;
- Research into EU policy issues concerning business and chambers;
- Organisation of meetings (invitations, registrations, catering, minutes etc);
- Attending and reporting on relevant EU institutional meetings and external events;
- Monitoring EU institutional activities and calendar;
- General administrative tasks.
What are we are looking for?
- EU policy/politics background;
- Good understanding of EU institutions and processes;
- Ideally, experience of EU project preparation/implementation;
- Interest in business issues;
- Strong organisational and interpersonal skills;
- Reliability, adaptability and capacity to prioritise;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and ideally also French.
