The internship serves to transfer operational skills and knowledge and as supplement to studies.

Your key responsibilities will be

• Supporting and accompanying the Corporate Communications Germany, Austria, Switzerland team in communication-related activities;
• Research of aviation related information (political parameters, regulations, benchmarking);
• Creating and editing of PR texts, translated press releases and other documents for external and internal communications;
• Handle general requests for information and requests from media;
• Support for communication with associations and industry partners;
• Support for the update of a Germany image brochure;
• Support for external branding and events;
• This requisition is for an international, locally hired Internship for a minimum of 6 and a maximum of 8 months - ideally starting March 2014.

You should be able to demonstrate the following competencies

• Ability to work independently;
• Enjoy working in a small committed team in a global company;
• Excellent German and English speaking and writing skills are essential;
• Globally minded;
• Good comprehension of economic and political contexts.

Typical Education/Experience

A-levels - Abitur - or equivalent. At least partial completion of a BA or MA university degree in business communications, marketing or related course.
