Content strategist (internship) MedTech Europe/Eucomed

Description: Work with the MedTech Europe Communications team (as a Eucomed intern) to develop content strategies and create and curate digital content across several platforms targeted at various audiences.
  • Duration: 6 months
  • Starting date: Immediately
  • Remuneration: €850/month + meal vouchers
Job description
MedTech Europe, the alliance of European medical technology industry associations, is looking for a content strategist to play a key role in content creation and curation for three important online industry platforms:
  • A brand journalism initiative aimed at enhancing the MedTech brand among certain segments of the general public.
  • A MedTech industry blog aimed at communicating the latest developments to industry experts and policymakers.
  • An internal newsletter aimed at providing exclusive intelligence to our members and stakeholders.
Additionally, the candidate will also support the Communications team by:
  • Monitoring media and analysing relevant coverage on a daily basis
  • Managing the media management/events database
  • Providing occasional administrative support
The ideal candidate
  • Academic or real-world experience in Journalism, Communications, Marketing
  • Native English speaker or equivalent
  • Excellent writing skills and a passion for storytelling
  • Digital savvy: knowledge of social media platforms, proficiency in MS Office
  • Interest in technology and health issues an asset
  • Eligible to work as a trainee in Belgium
About MedTech Europe/Eucomed
MedTech Europe is an Alliance of European medical technology industry associations. The alliance was founded in October 2012 and currently has two members: EDMA, representing the European in vitro diagnostic industry, and Eucomed, representing the European medical devices industry.
