Oxford Graduate Scholarships for International Students in UK, 2015-2016

Applications are invited for fully-funded Oxford graduate scholarships available for international students. Over 60 scholarships are available for 2015-16. These are fully funded scholarships. The scholarship will cover 100% of University and college fees and a grant for living costs. Awards will be available for the full duration of a student’s fee liability for the agreed course. The application deadline is 9 January 2015 for Medical Sciences, Philosophy, Politics & International Relations and Computer Science; 23 January 2015 for all other subjects.

Eligibility: The scholarship is only tenable at University College. All eligible applicants will be considered for this scholarship, regardless of which college (if any) you state as your preference on the graduate application form. However, successful applicants will be transferred to University College in order to take up the scholarship. This scholarship is not open to candidates applying for part-time courses or to applications from candidates who hold deferred offers to start in 2015-16. If your scholarship is offered for a course lasting more than one year, the continuation of your scholarship each year is subject to an annual renewal process based upon satisfactory academic progress.
-Oxford-Anderson Graduate Scholarships: Applicants should be applying to start a new graduate course at Oxford’s Faculty of History.
-Oxford-Berman Graduate Scholarships: Applicants should be applying to start a new graduate course at Oxford within the Department of Physics.
-Oxford-BP-Prince’s Foundation Graduate Scholarships: Applicants should be applying to start a part-time DPhil in Sustainable Urban Development at Oxford. This scholarship is not open to students with deferred entry. The continuation of your scholarship each year is subject to an annual renewal process based upon satisfactory academic progress.
-Oxford-Chellgren Graduate Scholarships: Applicants should be applying to start a new MPhil or DPhil course at Oxford’s Department of Economics. The continuation of your scholarship each year is subject to an annual renewal process based upon satisfactory academic progress.
-Oxford-Farthing Graduate Scholarships: Applicants should be applying to start a new graduate course within the Faculty of Law at Oxford. In awarding the Farthing Scholarships, preference will be given to those who wish to work with the Fellow in Law, Rebecca Williams, in the areas of criminal law and administrative law. It is likely that the scholar will also have an opportunity to teach at college level in these subjects.
-Oxford-Mary Frances and Philip Wagley Graduate Scholarships: Applicants should be applying to start a new graduate course at Oxford. There is a preference for courses within the Departments of Chemistry, Plant Sciences, Physics or Zoology.
-Oxford-Mok Graduate Scholarships at St Hugh’s: Applicants should be applying to start a new DPhil in Oriental Studies course at Oxford, specialising in Chinese studies.
-Oxford-NaturalMotion Graduate Scholarships: Applicants should be applying to start the DPhil in Zoology course at Oxford.
-Oxford-Pershing Square Graduate Scholarships: Applicants should be applying to start a new 1+1 MBA programme at Oxford.
-Oxford-Radcliffe Graduate Scholarships: Applicants should be applying to start a new graduate course at Oxford. The eligible courses are yet to be confirmed but will include the following: CDT in Biomedical Imaging (EPSRC), CDT in Cyber Security (EPSRC), CDT in Industrially-Focussed Mathematical Modelling (EPSRC), CDT in New and Sustainable Photovoltaics (EPSRC), CDT in Synthesis for Biology and Medicine (EPSRC and BBSRC), CDT in Theory and Modelling in Chemical Sciences (EPSRC), DPhil in Earth Sciences, MPhil or DPhil in Economics, Any DPhil within the Medical Sciences Division and DPhil in Politics or International Relations.
-Oxford-Rokos Graduate Scholarships: Applicants should be applying to start a new DPhil Economics or DPhil Economic and Social History course at Oxford.
-Oxford-Swire Graduate Scholarships: Applicants should be applying to start a new graduate course at Oxford’s Faculty of History.
-Oxford-Wolfson-Marriott Graduate Scholarships: Applicants should be applying to start a new graduate course at Oxford. Scholarship Open for International Students: International students are eligible for Oxford graduate scholarships except Oxford Graduate available for the students of EEA countries or Switzerland.
Scholarship Description: The Oxford Graduate Scholarships were established in 2012 through a groundbreaking fundraising initiative to support graduate students of the highest calibre from across the world. Over 60 scholarships are available for 2015-16 and we aim to offer up to 130 new, fully-funded scholarships each year when we meet our total fundraising goal. The University contributes 40% of the funds for these scholarships, together with 60% from generous donations provided by numerous supporters of the University and its colleges.

How to Apply: All eligible applicants who have applied to the University by the relevant January deadline for their course will automatically be considered for the Oxford Graduate Scholarships, with the exception of the Oxford-Pershing Square Graduate Scholarships, which require an additional application to be made at the same time as your application to a course is made.
