Collection, organization and analyisis of information
- To assist the Mental Health and Psychosocial support adviser to collect / organize and systematize documents/reports/data collection tools from all the MHPSS programs previously and currently implemented until now.
- To assist the Mental Health and Psychosocial support adviser to revise all collected documents to facilitate the collection/organization of information for a "lessons learnt" document based on all the field experiences. Such document will be organized as per the MHPSS policy and the strategic/thematic lines defined by the health Unit (support to families of missing persons programs, sexual violence response programs, MHPSS support to populations affected by other situation of violence, MHPSS support to detainees and specific actions of Psychiatric support ).
- With the support/guideline of the Mental Health and Psychosocial support adviser, updates the MHPSS documents in the Health Unit database with relevant ICRC documents and others.
- With the support/guideline of the Mental Health and Psychosocial support adviser conduct a literature review of relevant documents/articles on MHPSS (support to families of missing persons programs, sexual violence response programs, MHPSS support to populations affected by other situation of violence, MHPSS support to detainees and specific actions of Psychiatric support ) that can support the theoretical knowledge and field practice (scientific researches, methodologies among others).
- To organize the documentation available in the Health Unit (books/internal-external reports), concerning MHPSS, in order to facilitate the access to relevant material.
Reports and written support
- To assist the Mental Health and Psychosocial support adviser to write/organize extensive guidelines for implementing programs in each area of intervention; including data collection tools organized per type of programs, Drafts of ToR necessary to run programs and annexes with supportive documents (training manuals, guidelines and others)
Trainings/presentations support
- To assist the Mental Health and Psychosocial support adviser to organize and consolidate updated presentations for different trainings where MHPSS topics are required: missing consolidations course, management of dead bodies, health in detention, among others
- To assist the Mental Health and Psychosocial support adviser to organize the MHPSS consolidation week of 2013 ; logistics, agenda, preparation of documents, compilation of presentations, among other duties.
Position within the organisation
Reports to the Mental Health and Psychosocial Support adviser-Focal PointQualification required
- Psychological background is required.
- Humanitarian related background is required
- Fluent in English is required, good level of French is desirable
- Computer fluency in Word, Excel and Power Point.
- knowledge on data base management/data collection tools is desirable
