European Friends of Armenia (EuFoA, www.EuFoA.org) is a young and growing NGO which seeks to build bridges between Europe and Armenia. We are now seeking a highly motivated young professional for a full-time 6-months-long PAID INTERNSHIP. The applicant will be trained in all aspects of NGO work and will become an integral part of our team.

The applicant will be trained in all aspects of NGO work and will become an integral part of our team.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Monitoring EU-Armenia relations
- Organising conferences, study trips and other special events
- Performing ad-hoc internet research of information
- Assisting with the update of the organisation’s website
- Supporting the build-up of our network
- Representing the organisation externally at events and conferences
- Other duties as assigned
- A completed university degree in a relevant field (international relations, European studies, linguistics, journalism etc)
- A demonstrated interest in the field of the EU’s External Relations
- Language skills:
- native level English (C1 minimum) with excellent drafting skills; if you’re not a native speaker, education or work experience in an English-speaking country is a must
- knowledge of French, German, Italian, other EU languages, Armenian or Russian will be considered an asset
- At least basic knowledge of EU institutions
- Knowledge about Eastern Europe and the Caucasus is an asset but not required – the motivation and ability to learn quickly about this highly interesting region and its political context are required
- Applicants should be well-organised, self-motivated and reliable
- Computer skills (Microsoft Office, common online tools) are required
- Applicants from countries requiring work permits (Armenia, Ukraine, Moldova etc) have equal opportunities if they already hold a valid work permit for Belgium
- A very good working environment in a small, young, efficient and international team
- Involvement in all daily activities and participation at internal and external meetings
- A fair remuneration, sufficient to live on in Brussels and comparable to that offered by other Brussels-based NGOs
