The Group has leading involvement in the ATLAS experiment at CERN’s Large Hadron Collider and in a rich neutrino physics programme (the SNO+ experiment at SNOlab; the NO?A experiment at Fermilab; and the LBNE long-baseline neutrino oscillations project), as well as in experiments to measure the neutron Electron Dipole Moment (nEDM) and to perform direct Dark Matter searches (DEAP). Funding for studentships is available from the Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC), the European Research Council (ERC) and the University of Sussex.

Overseas students pay higher fees, due to UK government requirements, but our awards offer only the lower UK/EU fee, and we are unable to waive the additional fees.
