2014 Advanced Placement Merit Undergraduate Scholarships in UK

University of Sheffield is offering merit scholarships for undergraduate applicants who are taking Advanced Placements (AP). To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must be studying for or have taken Advanced Placements and must hold an offer of a study place for entry in September 2014. Applicants must also be self funding and classified as overseas for fee paying purposes. Each scholarship is worth £7,000 of undergraduate course tuition fee per year, for up to three years of study. The application deadline is 25 April 2014.
About Scholarship: A new scholarship scheme for undergraduate applicants who are taking Advanced Placements (AP). Three scholarships are available for AP holders starting their undergraduate studies in September 2014. Each scholarship is worth £7,000 of your undergraduate course tuition fee per year, for up to three years of study. The Advanced Placement scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic merit.

Eligibility: To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must be studying for or have taken Advanced Placements, apply for an undergraduate study place by 18 April 2014 and hold an offer of a study place for entry in September 2014. Applicants must also be self funding and classified as overseas for fee paying purposes.
Scholarship Open for: International students can apply for these merit scholarships.
Number of awards: Three merit scholarships are awarded.
Duration: These merit scholarships are awarded for up to three years of study.
Value: Each scholarship is worth £7,000 of undergraduate course tuition fee per year, for up to three years of study.
Selection Criteria: The Advanced Placement scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic merit.
Notification: Scholarship results will be announced by Friday 30 May 2014.
Apply: Applicants cannot apply for the scholarship before being offered a study place at Sheffield. Eligible students will automatically be sent details of how to apply from January 2014 onwards.
Deadline: The application deadline is 25 April 2014.
