Bournemouth University is offering Dean’s scholarships
for students who have applied to study a full-time taught Masters
degree on BU campus. All Taught Masters courses except courses in the
School of Health & Social Care and the Business School. M.Sc. Public
Health is the only course in the School of Health & Social Care
accepting applications for this scholarship. Scholarships include 50% or
25% fee reduction. The application deadline is 31 May 2014.
About Scholarship: This scholarship is offered to students who have applied to study a full-time taught Masters degree on BU campus and specific entry requirements apply for each School. -Students who are classified as ‘overseas’ for fee purposes are eligible to apply. Excludes BU International College students, studying for a Pre-Masters.
-The award for School of Design, Engineering & Computing and School of Applied Sciences (joint offer) are open for students resident in the following countries only: China, India, USA, Canada and Nigeria.

The number of scholarship awards for the School of Tourism is shared between UK/EU and International applicants.
Number of award(s): Total 34 Dean’s scholarships are offered.
-School of Tourism: 6 (50% fee reduction), 10 (25% fee reduction)
-The Media School: 4 (50% fee reduction), 4 (25% fee reduction)
-School of Health & Social Care: 5 (50% fee reduction)
-School of Design, Engineering & Computing and School of Applied Sciences (joint offer): 5 (50% fee reduction)
Duration: Scholarships are offered for duration of the program.
Value: These Deans scholarships include 50% or 25% fee reduction.
Selection Criteria: An outstanding academic profile, relevant to your course, as follows:
-Upper second-class honours (2i) classification plus a fully completed scholarship application form outlining why you should be considered for this scholarship.
-Excludes BU International College students studying for a Pre-Masters.
Notification: Successful applicants will normally be informed within one month of the deadline. Your award will not be formally approved until you hold an unconditional firm offer.
