Communications Intern Euro NCAP

Euro NCAP is currently recruiting a Communications Intern. The focus of the work will be to assist Euro NCAP’s Communications Manager in the development of communications tools and projects.
About Euro NCAP
Euro NCAP is a non-profit organization focusing on vehicles safety and organizing crash tests on the most popular cars sold in Europe. Euro NCAP provides European consumers with a realistic and independent assessment of the safety performance of the vehicles tested. Euro NCAP is composed of seven European Governments as well as motoring clubs and consumer organisations across Europe. Well known for its star rating, Euro NCAP has become the reference for vehicle safety and has greatly contributed in encouraging significant safety improvements on new cars since its launch in 1997.

The candidate
  • Would have just graduated or be in the final stage of studies in Communication, Public Relations or equivalent (Master or Bachelor’s degree);
  • Possesses experience of website and online communications tools management;
  • Has excellent knowledge of social media and monitoring tools;
  • Is pro-active, communicative, open minded and consumer oriented;
  • Has an excellent command of English which is the principle working language at Euro NCAP;
  • A good level of at least another official EU working language is desirable.
The tasks
The candidate will bring administrative support to Euro NCAP’s Communications Manager and help prepare publications of car results. He/she will help consolidate databases, update mailing lists, develop social media and give support for the development of the website. The intern will also contribute in updating the Media Center, compile the publications material (videos, pictures) and improve current communications tools.
The contract will start as soon as possible. Expected duration of 6 months to be discussed.
Compensation will provided. As Euro NCAP is registered in Belgium as an AISBL, the internship contract will be under Belgian law.
