An exciting opportunity is available for a
postgraduate looking to gain experience working on a public/private
pre-competitive industry project at the European Bioinformatics Institute (EMBL-EBI).
Reporting to the Industry Programme Manager,
you will contribute to background research on the documentation of
informatics resources to support rare diseases research for industry.
This will involve investigating existing resources and identifying gaps,
bottlenecks and opportunities for further development.
Ideally you will start in mid to late February and
you must be available for a workshop that will take place in Hinxton on
27-28 March 2014.
A small monthly allowance will be provided.
EMBL-EBI is part of the European Molecular Biology
Laboratory (EMBL) and is located on the Wellcome Trust Genome Campus
near Cambridge in the UK. We are a world-leading bioinformatics centre
providing biological data to the scientific community with expertise in
data storage, analysis and representation.
