is the association which represents European public postal operators.
It is committed to supporting and developing a sustainable and
competitive European postal communication market accessible to all
customers and ensuring a modern and affordable universal service. Our
Members represent 2.1 million employees across Europe and deliver to 800
million customers daily through over 175,000 counters.
1.AVILABILITY

2.INTERNSHIP
The internship programme is for 6 months starting from 1 April till 31 September 2014. It is offered to students who are currently enrolled in a university level course. The internship programme is focussed on learning by experience and provides an opportunity to gain valuable work skills in an international environment.
3.PRIMARY OBJECTIVES OF THE JOB
A signed Convention de Stage (a tripartite agreement between PostEurop, the intern and his/her university or college) is required. Prospective interns must fulfil this requirement to apply.

- The Communication Intern will support the work of the
Communications Manager in implementing the communication strategy. This
will mainly include the following:
- Assist in updating and further developing the relational aspects of the new website
- Assist in updating and maintenance of our Members’ database
- Support the EUROPA 2014 communication campaign
- Support the coordination and implementation of communcation materials for the Plenary Assembly
- Assist in coordination of articles and interviews for member newsletters – PENews
- Assist in preparing the new Inside PostEurop
- Fluent in written and spoken English and French. Other languages are an asset
- Willing to work in a dynamic international association
- Degree in Communication or equivalent
- Excellent organisational skills, structured and quick to adapt
- Outstanding IT skills with experience in website content management
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Eye for detail
- Team-oriented/people-oriented
- Able to work independently, to demonstrate initiative, and to exhibit self-motivation (“self starter”)
- Very high degree of computer literacy (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe In-Design, Content Management Systems,etc.) is a asset.
- Experience with social media is a plus
- Full-time position (38 hours).
