Grade 10a: £42,883 - £57,581 p.a.

The Department of Economics seeks to make a number of appointments at University Lecturer level from 1 October 2013.

The post of University Lecturer is the main career grade for academic faculty at Oxford and is equivalent to an American associate professorship.

The title of Professor may be awarded through the regular 'recognition of distinction' exercise conducted by the University. Each University Lecturer will provide lectures, supervise graduate students, engage in research within the Department of Economics and undertake college tutorial duties.

The department invites applications from candidates in any field of specialisation with postdoctoral experience in an academic position, a proven high standard of research and who are capable of providing graduate supervision.
The department offers an exciting research and teaching environment, and an attractive financial package to the successful applicants. There are allowances in addition to the stated salary.
