About Scholarship: A Teaching Fellow position is available in the Department of Pharmacy, King’s College London. This is an opportunity for a highly-motivated individual to provide cover for Professor MJ Lawrence’s teaching while she is seconded to the Royal Pharmaceutical Society.
The teaching will comprise part of the Pharmacy Department’s teaching activities in pharmaceutics. The post holder will be expected to deliver Professor Lawrence’s lectures and tutorials on the MPharm and MSc courses run in the department, set and mark course work and exam questions on these lectures and attend examination boards as necessary.
The postholder will also supervise MPharm and MSc projects, mentor undergraduate and MSc students through the personal tutor system, and contribute generally to the Pharmaceutics Group’s activity, for example participate in student interviews and attend pharmaceutics teaching meetings.

-It is essential that the post holder has a degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry or relevant biological discipline as well as a PhD in a related field. Teaching and research experience in a School of Pharmacy are also essential as well as experience of teaching pharmaceutics and dosage form design.

Cover: The appointment will be made, dependent on relevant qualifications, within the Grade 6 scale, currently £31,020 to £37,012 per annum plus £2,323 per annum London Allowance.
