Full-time Postgraduate Taught Bursary for the EU Applicants other than the UK at Sheffield Hallam University, 2013 UK
About Scholarship: Sheffield Hallam University is offering bursaries of £1000 to EU students who begin a full-time course at the University in September 2012 or January 2013. All full-time postgraduate taught courses are taking part in the programme. Successful applicants will be awarded with a certificate to mark their achievement at a scholarships ceremony following enrolment on their course and a payment will be made after enrolment. This bursary is not a reduction in fees.

Eligibility: You are eligible to be considered for the European Bursary if
• You are a national of an EU country other than the UK and classed as an EU student for fees purposes
• You can meet the course entry requirements as specified in your offer
• Have submitted your course application and been given a conditional/unconditional offer
• You are able to evidence achievement in your personal statement
Selection criteria: The Scholarships Panel will consider the quality of the personal statement alongside academic achievement when allocating bursaries.
Scholarship Open for: EU country other than the UK and classed as an EU student for fees purposes
Notification: The panel will be held after the closing date and applicants will be notified approximately one month after the closing date using the contact details on your application record. The decision of the panel is final.
Apply: By post and electronically, your application for the European Bursary should be sent by post or email to the address below with, or following, your application for a 2012/13 course at Sheffield Hallam University. Please complete the white boxes with your information, and please do not supply any supplementary papers. Following the guidelines will be part of the criteria when we assess your application.
Deadline: For courses starting in January 2013 applications must be submitted by 30 November 2012
