Description
Journal Europa aims at showing Europe, far from massmedia’s stereotypes and Brussels institutions, made by youth and citizens. Created in Nantes, west of France, 8 years ago, and working with a network of more than 300 young journalists from all over Europe, it deals with different topics such as politics, society, culture, media, environment, etc. A website, with translated articles, spread the alternative information of Journal Europa’s young correspondants, and a printed magazine of 32 pages is delivered in 6 cities of the western France.The candidate will get the 9 months job ( from October 1st 2012 to June 30th 2013) based in Nantes (France), where will work and be supervised by the permanent team.
Eligibility
The applicant:- needs to have nationality of one of the EU or Economic European Area member-states*;
- has to be under 26 on October 1st;
- be fluent in French and English (+ other languages are welcome!);
- to have experience in European journalism;
- to have good knowledge of social networks;
- to have interested in culture, citizenship and European media;
- be fluent in writing and web editing.
*The Economic European Area member-states are: Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland.
