Marie Colvin Scholarship

A one-year scholarship in honour of the outstanding Sunday Times foreign correspondent who was killed this year on assignment in Syria

The Sunday Times is looking for future foreign correspondents to apply for this one-year scholarship.
You will have practical experience of print journalism and digital media and a proven interest in foreign affairs. Candidates may be of any nationality but must have excellent English and the right to work in the UK.
The upper age limit is 26. The paid scholarship will involve working on the foreign desk and other sections. A trip overseas may also be included. The scheme runs from 1 January 2013 for a year.

Applications should include cover letter, CV and writing samples (maximum of 3) and should be addressed to Kathleen Herron, Deputy Managing Editor, The Sunday Times, 3 Thomas More Square, London, E98 1ST. Envelopes must be marked "MARIE COLVIN SCHOLARSHIP". Applications must be received no later than 30 September 2012
