The Scholarships are open to applicants who are applying
for admission onto one of the following MSc programmes in September 2015: MSc
in Accounting & Finance, MSc in Banking & Risk, MSc in Carbon
Finance, MSc in Finance & Investment, MSc in Financial Management, MSc in
Human Resource Management, MSc in International Human Resource Management,
MSc in International Business & Emerging Markets, MSc in Management, MSc
in Marketing & MSc in Marketing & Business Analysis.
Applicants should already have been offered a place on one
of the programmes, and should have firmly accepted that offer or be intending
to do so. If they have not yet paid their deposit, they will be required to
pay within two weeks of being offered the scholarship. Applicants who hold
full sponsorships are not eligible for the scholarship. If an applicant is
successful in being awarded a scholarship, but subsequently declines their
offer of admission on the MSc Programme, the award of the scholarship will be
withdrawn and awarded to another applicant. An award may be withdrawn if a
student fails to meet the academic standards set by the University.

Important Information:

The Scholarships will be awarded on the basis of academic
merit and the benefits to the student. Candidates must have, or expect to
obtain the international equivalent of a UK first class or 2:1 Honours degree
at Undergraduate Level.

To apply for a scholarship you must first apply for
admission for an eligible programme of study at the University of Edinburgh.
Only applicants who have received an offer of admission (conditional or
unconditional) on the closing date of the scholarship will be considered by the
panel. Once you have applied for admission you will receive your University
Username (UUN). Your UUN is the letter ‘s’ followed by your matriculation
number; for example, s0987654.
Once all the information has been received by The Business
School and the assessment of the submitted documents is complete, you will be
informed about your selection in the same.
