LLC Masters Scholarship for Study in University of Edinburgh, United Kingdom

  • Applicants to two-year programmes or part-time programmes including distance learning, are eligible to apply for the scholarships, but they will be liable for any tuition fees that exceed the one year Home/EU rate of £8,100.
  • Any Additional Programme Costs are not included in this award and applicants will remain liable for this cost for 1 Year.

Eligibility:
  1. Applicants for these awards must have applied for a Masters programme of study within the School of Literatures, Languages and Cultures before 31 January 2015. Their references must have been submitted by 15 February 2015.
  2. The awards will be made based on academic merit. Successful applicants are likely to hold or be predicted to achieve a first class honours undergraduate degree (or overseas equivalent) in a relevant field. In addition, the academic statement should make a strong case for the candidate’s aptitude and plans for the chosen programme of study.
  3. Phd Students are not eligible to apply for this Scheme.

To apply for the above scholarship / award / grant you should submit the following documents and should possess the following:
  • To apply for a scholarship you must first apply for admission for an eligible programme of study at the University of Edinburgh.
  • Once you have applied for admission you will receive your University Username (UUN). Your UUN is the letter ‘s’ followed by your matriculation number; for example, s0987654.
  • Only applicants who have received an offer of admission (conditional or unconditional) on the closing date of the scholarship will be considered by the panel.
Once all the information has been received by University of Edinburgh and the assessment of the submitted documents is complete, you will be informed about your selection in the same.
