CEELBAS Doctoral Student Travel Grants for Study in Universities of United Kingdom, United Kingdom

If you would like to study in Universities of United Kingdom, United Kingdom and pursue Full Time Doctoral (M.Phil./ D.Phil./ Phd) Program in any Subject you can avail CEELBAS Doctoral Student Travel Grants which is being offered by The Centre for East European Language-Based Area Studies (CEELBAS) is funded by the Arts & Humanities Research Council (AHRC) and British Academy (BA).
This is a Doctoral (M.Phil./ D.Phil./ Phd) Program Merit Based Scholarship and students are eligible from International Student (CEELBAS covers all the countries of Central, Eastern, South-Eastern Europe and the Baltics, Russia, as well as Turkey and the Black Sea sub-region, Central Asia and the Caucasus) to apply for the same. Eligibility:
  1. These grants are available to doctoral (M.Phil./D.Phil./PhD) students at CEELBAS universities who (i) will not have submitted their theses at the time of the proposed activity and (ii) are self-funding their studies and/or are unable to support the full costs of the proposed activity through other sources of funding.
  2. The funding is intended to support doctoral research falling within the AHRC’s subject remit and/or furthering the objectives of the BA’s Languages & Quantitative Skills Programme. CEELBAS and its Funders are keen to adopt a flexible and pragmatic approach in this respect. Students whose research is primarily oriented in the social sciences are still eligible to apply, as long as the activity for which funding is requested (i) demonstrably enhances their language skills and/or capacity to engage productively with arts and humanities research, and (ii) has clear added value for their research project.
