175 Anniversary Scholarships for PhD Students from Home/EU/Overseas at Royal College of Art in UK

Eligibility: The studentship will be awarded on the basis of an outstanding PhD proposal and the potential relevance of the research to the strategic research themes of the six Schools, the work of the Helen Hamlyn Centre for Design and Creative Exchange Hub. The competition is open to new Home/EU/Overseas students holding an offer to begin a research degree at the Royal College of Art, except those with Home RCUK or equivalent full funding.

Scholarship Description: The Royal College of Art is pleased to announce the creation of ten individual scholarships to coincide with the 175th anniversary of the College. The scholarships will be awarded to new students and commence in the academic year 2013-14.
Number of awards offered: 10 Scholarships are offered.
Duration of award: Scholarship is offered for 3 years.
What does it cover? The studentship, which is worth £10,000, must be held full-time and will last for three years.
