FEAD offers a traineeship
- Environment/Waste-related issues -
to start as soon as possible
for a 6-month period
Based in the heart of Brussels, close to the EU-institutions, FEAD offers you the opportunity to work with the European trade association for the European waste management industry.
Assignments:

•  Collect, review and disseminate information on policy areas relevant to FEAD members as well as providing the FEAD team with regular updates
•  Assist with the co-ordination of and attendance in FEAD Committees’ meetings
•  Press monitoring
• Updating the FEAD website
•  Attend sessions in the European Parliament or other meetings and report
•  Help with the preparation of FEAD events
• Various other administrative tasks

Requirements:

• Technical/EU affairs background
• Strong interest and first experience in environmental issues/waste management
•  Native or excellent English (written and oral)
•  Other language skills are an asset ( in particular French and German) Good communication skills
•  Fully computer literate
• Ability to adapt in a small but highly motivated team
