EU Policy Internship

AHDB Brussels office is looking for a highly motivated intern. This is a full-time remunerated position (736.20/ month) based in Brussels, Belgium, commencing 21 January 2013 until 19 April 2013.

Key tasks:

  • Monitoring EU policies in the area of agriculture and environment;
  • Drafting reports and briefing notes;
  • Covering key events, EU conferences and meetings and report on their content;
  • Organising meetings/press visits;
  • Administrative work;
  • Liaising with EU Commission and Brussels based industry organisations.

Minimum requirements:

  • Native English speaker or equivalent;
  • Excellent communication skills in French;
  • Good knowledge of EU agricultural policies;
  • Excellent knowledge of the EU decision-making process;
  • Proven drafting and research skills;
  • Previous experience in EU institutions/consultancy/lobbying organisation.
