Coopération Bancaire pour l'Europe (CBE) - EEIG is a Brussels-based
company founded in 1992 by several European banks wishing to cooperate
to take full advantage of European and international opportunities.
CBE's mission is to provide information and consulting services on EU
policies and European and international funding programs and public
tenders to its associated members and their clients, as well as to
assist them in different fields related to the internationalization of
businesses, such as participation in public contracts and finding
business partners.

We are looking for a motivated project assistant to join our team. We are offering a six-month paid internship. The internship will start indicatively in February 2014.

The selected candidate will be fully integrated in CBE team and will assist CBE staff in several areas of activities. In particular, the selected candidate will have the following responsibilities:

The selected candidate will be fully integrated in CBE team and will assist CBE staff in several areas of activities. In particular, the selected candidate will have the following responsibilities:
- Monitor and reporting EU calls for proposals in the fields of interest of CBE members (research, innovation, SME, tourism, education);
- Monitoring and reporting of EU legislative proposal in the financial sector;
- Contributing to draft CBE newsletters;
- Updating website contents;
- Drafting of EU project proposals;
- Organization of conferences, seminars and training courses;
- Participation in conferences and networking activities;
- Assisting CBE project managers in managing on-going projects.
To the candidate is requested:
- Italian native speaker or equivalent (curricula that don’t fulfill this requirement will not be taken into consideration);
- Solid knowledge of EU institutions and its main policies;
- Good knowledge of EU funding programs (research, innovation, SME, tourism, education);
- Good knowledge of EU legislative procedure and databases;
- Prior experience in EU project management;
- Prior experience in EU policy consulting and/or EU institutions is an asset;
- Excellent knowledge of English (both written and spoken);
- Strong interest in EU project management;
- Motivated, proactive and autonomous.
