Knowledge Centre Intern EVPA - European Venture Philanthropy Association

The person will be responsible for:
  • Your work will be mostly on research and writing, with some organizational support as needed
  • You will be involved in research activities primarily helping to prepare, conduct and analyse a major research survey, as well as conducting desk and field research
  • Depending on the duration of the internship, possible tasks include contributing to research on exit strategies, conducting case studies on member organisations, or assisting in workshop preparations.

Performance competencies:
  • You are an energetic student eager to get your hands dirty at a start-up professional organization
  • You are excited about venture philanthropy and have some knowledge of social venture financing or social entrepreneurship
  • You are curious to learn more about VP and related topics and willing to both engage in desk research and field interviews
  • You thrive under pressure and uncertainty and are able to act quickly and efficiently
  • You are proficient with the Microsoft Office suite
  • You are eager to combine your business knowledge with communications skills to strengthen both
  • You possess strong English writing and communication skills and at least one other language (preferably French)
  • You possess analytical skills and are able to deal with basic statistics
  • You are willing to relocate to Brussels for the duration of the internship
