2014 Wolfson Postgraduate Scholarship at University of Warwick in UK

University of Warwick is offering three Wolfson postgraduate scholarships in humanities. Scholarship is available for full-time PhD (or MPhil/PhD) degree programme scholarships at University of Warwick. Three scholarships are offered for UK and EU students which covers scholarship amount per annum and academic course fees and a maintenance payment of the remaining funds. Successful applicants will be communicated through email by mid March 2014. Online application must be submitted by 13th January 2014.
About Scholarship: The University is delighted to have been selected as one of the few institutions in the UK to be awarded three Wolfson Postgraduate Scholarships in Humanities. Applicants will be considered for all scholarships listed above for which they are eligible when applying to the postgraduate research scholarship competition.
Study: The scholarship is awarded in humanities, history, literature and languages at University of Warwick in the UK. Eligibility:
•Applicants must be applying for a full-time PhD (or MPhil/PhD) course at the University of Warwick, expecting to begin in Autumn 2014;
•Applicants must be applying to a department within the Arts Faculty or the Philosophy Department.

Scholarship Open for: UK/EU applicants are eligible for this postgraduate scholarship.
Number of awards: Three Wolfson postgraduate scholarships will be awarded.
Duration: Scholarship will be awarded for the maximum period of three years.
Value:
•Scholarships will be available at the level of £27,000 per annum for a maximum period of three years.
•This includes full payment of the academic course fees and a maintenance payment of the remaining funds. The maintenance payment will be paid directly to the award holder to enable them to utilize the funds for research and training costs.

Notification: Results of the PGR Scholarships competition will be communicated through email by mid March 2014.
Apply: The mode of applying is online. To apply to the postgraduate research scholarship competition there is one application form required, via a single combined application form for postgraduate admission and for the scholarships.
Deadline: The deadline for applications was 13th January 2014.
