Each year the University of Sheffield offers a small number of University Prize Scholarships
for new PhD students starting in 2014-15. Awards are open to UK, EU
and international applicants in all subjects. Scholarships are offered
for up to three years full-time or six years part-time study.
Scholarship covers full tuition fees and an annual, tax-free maintenance
stipend of £20,000 as well as a Research Training Support Grant of
£2,500 per year for study visits, conferences, books, consumables and
equipments. Applicants should have, or expect to achieve, a first or
upper second class UK honours degree or equivalent. The application
deadline is 3rd February 2014.

This form will be considered alongside the information and supporting documents (transcripts, references etc) that you supplied with your admissions application. You can use this form to apply for various scholarship schemes (University Prize, Faculty, Harry Worthington, Wolfson, ESRC DTC Scholarships) – please complete it once only, ticking the schemes you wish to be considered for.
Deadline: The application deadline is 3rd February 2014 at 12 noon. Late applications will not be accepted in any circumstances.
