2014 Jenkins Memorial Scholarships for International Students in UK

University of Oxford offers Scholarships for International Students in the field of Humanities or Social Sciences in UK. The value of the scholarship will be around £12,900 per year (exact amount to be confirmed), to be used towards living costs. The award is tenable for one year only. Candidates enrolled on two-year Master’s degrees are expected to have other funding for the remainder of their study period. The application deadline is 10 or 24 January 2014, depending on your course. 
About Scholarship: The Jenkins Memorial Fund was established in honour of the late Lord Jenkins of Hillhead, a former Chancellor of the University. These scholarships are for graduates of other universities within the Europaeum (an association of leading European universities). 
Study: Scholarships are provided in the field of Humanities or Social Sciences at University of Oxford. Course Level: Scholarships are available for pursuing master’s degree level at University of Oxford. Scholarship Provider: University of Oxford Scholarship can be taken at: UK 
Eligibility: -You should be applying to start a new full-time Master’s course at Oxford in the Humanities or Social Sciences Divisions. Priority will be given to students applying for one-year, full-time Master’s degrees, but students applying for a two-year, full-time Master’s degree may also be considered.
-Please ensure you meet the selection criteria for your course.
-You should be a graduate of any nationality from one of the following universities: Bologna University, Bologna, Charles University, Prague, Graduate Institute for International and Development Studies, Geneva, Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne, Paris, University of Helsinki, Helsinki, Institute of Political Studies (IEP) of Catholic University of Portugal, Lisbon, Jagiellonian University, Krakow, University of Leiden, Leiden, Complutense University, Madrid and Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UDF), Barcelona.

Duration: Scholarships are offered for one year.

Notification: Decisions are expected to be made in early May 2014. This webpage will be updated as soon as successful candidates have been notified. Apply: Apply at the same time as you apply to Oxford by selecting the Jenkins Memorial Scholarship in the Funding section of the University’s graduate application form. In order to be considered for this scholarship, you must submit your application for graduate study by the relevant January deadline for your course (10 January 2014 for Philosophy and Politics & International Relations; 24 January 2014 for all other subjects).
