for UK/EU Students in UK. Scholarships are available for pursuing
undergraduate degree level at Newcastle University. Up to 20 Promise
scholarships are available worth up to £9,000 per year for students of
high ability from low income backgrounds. The closing date for Stage 1
applications is 9th May 2014 for Stage 2 applications is 18th July 2014.
About Scholarship: Newcastle University will be offering up to 20 Promise Scholarships worth up to £9,000 per year for students of high ability from low income backgrounds, who meet specific criteria. Promise Scholarships are in addition to any government grants or loans which students may receive. They do not have to be repaid.

Eligibility:- New UK or EU undergraduate students who start a degree course in 2014 may be eligible for consideration for a Promise Scholarship.

Scholarship Open for: The students of Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and UK can apply for these scholarships.
