Call for interns: Communication intern and Project Management intern

The European Youth Press (EYP), network of young media makers, is seeking for two motivated intern, supported by an Erasmus or Leonardo internship program, to work at the organisation’s headquarters in Brussels. The EYP is specifically looking for an intern in the field of communication and an intern in the field of project management.
Through this internship, you will have the possibility to get work experience from an international organisation located in the heart of Brussels, right next to the European Parliament.
Note: Only candidates supported by a Leonardo or Erasmus internship programme or a university course (CSN) will be considered.
In order to apply, you should have a keen interest in media and be a student or a recent graduate in a relevant field of study to the announced position.

Responsibilities of communication intern:

The intern will report to our secretary general and work on a variety of communication strategies, develop concepts for brochures, press releases and participate in the day-to-day work of the secretariat.
The intern will also assist in the development of the social media and communication strategy.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated knowledge and interest of in the field of media and journalism
  • Good knowledge of English
  • Creative and detail oriented
  • Pro-active
  • Organised and able to fulfill his/her tasks independently
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
  • Background knowledge in the field of communication is a plus

Responsibilities of project management intern:

The intern will report to our secretary general and work on a variety of projects. The intern will be involved in the drafting and management of the projects, will be in contact with different stakeholders, partners and participants and will also be fully involved in the day-to-day work of the secretariat.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated knowledge and interest of in the field of media and journalism
  • Good knowledge of English
  • Creative and detail oriented
  • Pro-active
  • Organised and able to fulfill his/her tasks independently
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
  • Experience in project management and fundraising is a plus
