EuropaBio is the European Association for Bioindustries, bringing
together bioscience companies from all fields of research and
development, testing, manufacturing and distribution of biotechnology
products. It has 55 corporate members, 15 associate members and Bio
Regions and 17 National Biotechnology Associations- representing some
1800 small and medium sized enterprises across Europe. www.europabio.org
The Stagiaire tasks will include, but not be limited to:
Tasks/Projects
The Stage will be located within EuropaBio’s Communications and National Associations Council (NAC) Unit and is for a six month period.The Stagiaire tasks will include, but not be limited to:
- Assist in researching and drafting new communications materials and reports;
- Draft and manage the distribution of the EuropaBio newsletters;
- Monitor the Press on a daily basis and update the press database on an ongoing basis;
- Help prepare EuropaBio events including National Association Council Meetings, agendas, minutes and other events;
- Manage the updating the public website (training provided);
- Help with a broad range of communications tasks supporting the work of EuropaBio’s Communications Manager and Secretary General;
- Research and analytical support for the National Associations Council, with a particular focus on EU and national legislation effecting SMEs.
Candidate Profile
Essential- Must currently be a student (Convention de Stage or agreement with University to undertake internship as part of study strictly necessary);
- Must be an EU citizen;
- Excellent English - both written and spoken;
- Strong drafting and organisational skills and attention to detail;
- Good team player but also capable of working independently;
- An interest in the three key areas of healthcare, Industrial and agricultural biotechnology;
- MS Computer Skills.
- A good knowledge of European Affairs, particularly access to finance for SMEs;
- A strong interest and knowledge of new media and website management;
- Second language.
