University of the Arts London offers Vice-Chancellor’s scholarships
for UK/EU and international students. These scholarships are only
available to applicants who will start a new postgraduate course at the
University of the Arts London in the 2013/14 academic year. These awards
are not available to those continuing their existing UAL postgraduate
studies in 2013/14.

Scholarship Open for International Students: UK/EU and international students can apply for these scholarships.
Scholarship Description: A number of awards are available for Home/EU and International taught master’s students across the University of the Arts London, for courses starting January 2014. All taught master’s courses will be considered for scholarship funding.
Number of award(s): A number of Vice Chancellor’s postgraduate scholarships for international students are awarded and 40 additional awards of £4,000 towards fees will also be available to UK/EU status.
Duration of award(s): Not Known
What does it cover? A number of full fee waivers for Home/EU students. Both new applicants and UAL graduates will be considered. A number of Vice Chancellor’s Postgraduate Scholarships for international students, which will provide a full tuition fee waiver at the overseas rate. 40 additional awards of £4,000 towards fees will also be available to UK/EU status UAL students and graduates progressing from Undergraduate to Postgraduate study. Priority for these awards will be those applicants who come from a low income background.
-for UAL alumni: All UK/EU status University of the Arts London graduating undergraduate students who are progressing into a postgraduate course are entitled to a further £1,000 fee discount in addition to the progression bursary.
Selection Criteria: Demonstrate academic excellence which will be assessed based on :
-The quality of the applicant’s work
-The clarity of the applicant’s descriptions and insights into their work and subject
-The applicant’s potential for future development and how their practice could develop as a result of the course
-The applicant’s commitment to their practice, including their broader experience (shows, prizes, internships, community work and other activities) and long term commitment to professional practice.
