University of the West of England, Bristol offers Academic Merit Scholarships for
International Students in UK. Scholarships are available for pursuing
undergraduate and postgraduate degree level at University of the West of
England, Bristol. Total offer is of up to £1,500. To be eligible,
students must have already submitted an application and received an
unconditional offer from UWE onto a new programme. The application
deadline is 6th September 2013 for September 2013 intake and 9th January
2014 for January 2014 intake.
About Scholarship: The University of the West of England, Bristol offers more than £600,000 worth of scholarships for international students each year. UWE offers scholarships of up to £1,500 to overseas students who have demonstrated academic merit. To be eligible, students must have already submitted an application and received an unconditional offer from UWE onto a new programme.
Study: Scholarships are provided to learn any of the courses offered by the University of the West of England, Bristol. (Scholarships are not available in respect of the English Language Pre-sessional programmes. The MBA, BPTC, LPC, GDL, PhD’s and continuing professional development courses are not eligible for the postgraduate scholarships. Students enrolling at Hartpury are not eligible for any of the UWE scholarships.)

Eligibility: Applicant will be eligible for consideration for a scholarship if you meet the following criteria:
-You, the student, are liable to pay the full international tuition fee. ie you are not a sponsored student (unless otherwise specified).
-You are a national of, and resident in a country outside of the EU.
-You have been made a conditional or unconditional offer of a place from the University of the West of England, Bristol.
-You meet any specific scholarship requirements.
Scholarship Open for: International Students can apply for these scholarships ( To be eligible, students must have already submitted an application and received an unconditional offer from UWE onto a new programme).
Duration: These are one-off awards, which are non-renewable after the first year of study unless otherwise specified.
Value: Total offer is of up to £1,500.
Selection criteria: The scholarships will be awarded on academic merit.
Notification: If you have been awarded a scholarship, you will be notified in writing.
