Call for participants for student exchange program in Austria

BRUSSELS - It is time to apply for the student exchange in Austria! The FinSt project team invites you, the NUSes, to apply to take part in the second of three student exchanges taking places as part of the ESU project Financing the Students' Future (FinSt), funded by the European Commission Lifelong Learning Program.
The project is funding three student exchanges, open to officers and staff in national unions across Europe and hosted by the partner unions in the FinST project: NUS (UK), EUL (Estonia) and OH (Austria). The second exchange, with the Austrian national union of students, OH will take place in Vienna in December of 2011. More information about the project can be read here.

The aim of the exchanges is to build the capacity of national students' unions across Europe to be able to influence their higher education financing systems. Each delegate will be provided with an opportunity to stay in the host country for ten days. They will experience a different student participation environment and be able to take part in activities contributing to the FinSt project, and intended to improve participants' knowledge about the higher education system in the host country.

Attached to this article is the call for participants for the OH (Austria) exchange to be filled and the project description for more information.

The date for the exchange is 5-17. December 2011 and OH will be hosting 6 delegates.

Application deadline is 3 October 2011. Applications should be sent to exchange.finst@esu-online.org. Participants will be informed of the selection decision within two weeks of the deadline.

If for any reason you are unable to take this opportunity, there will be one more exchange in Estonia next spring.  We are looking forward to hearing from you!
