European Friends of Armenia (EuFoA, www.eufoa.org)
is a young and growing NGO which seeks to build bridges between Europe
and Armenia. We are now seeking a highly motivated student to join our
team as unpaid student intern. The applicant will be trained in all
aspects of NGO work and will become an integral part of our team.

The objectives of the internship are:
- To provide an in-depth understanding of the workings of a non-governmental organization;
- To introduce the trainee to and actively engage him/her in the practices employed by European Friends of Armenia for reaching the objectives set out in the organization’s agenda;
- To further develop a range of skills such as team-work, research, communication, data processing and translation;
- To improve knowledge of the EU, its institutions and foreign policy; of EU-Armenia relations and of the politics of the Caucasus.
- the internship has to last 8 weeks minimum
- you have to hold a student status to apply (= you have to be able to provide a 'convention de stage' from your university)
- you have to have your own funding through your university, an EU programme or some other grant
- you have to possess a valid work permit for Belgium or be enrolled in a Belgian university (which means that if, for example, you are a Romanian/Russian/Armenian student in Paris, unfortunately you cannot apply)
- Monitoring EU-Armenia relations
- Assisting with organising conferences, research trips and other special events
- Drafting political correspondence
- Providing translation of internal documents, correspondence, website articles and publications
- Providing support for ongoing projects and activities
- Assisting with the update of the organisation’s website
- Supporting the build-up of EuFoA network
