In this challenging placement you will be given your own workload and work on live projects straight away! We’ll expect you to give your insight and opinion and make a real contribution every day. You will support the International PR team for internal and external communications and will have the opportunity to develop and learn about the communications field whilst working alongside senior leaders.

Responsibilities
To assist the PR Director & Manager to ensure that the International and UK press offices are being managed effectively and efficiently:
- Being the first point of contact for all press enquiries
- Processing enquiries so that they are ready for response
- Managing subscriptions to key publications
- Managing approval process for all press and public affairs materials
- To update the Press Site with relevant information, ensuring all details are up to date
- To participate in all relevant meetings for the PR department both internally and externally
- Monitor and circulate daily news updates for the UK business
- Prepare internal Newswire email to be distributed to all staff each morning
- Keep key members of staff informed about breaking news stories and cuttings that mention relevant aspects of the business
Skills / Knowledge / Experience
- Graduates – Minimum 2:2 or above Degree in any discipline
- Undergraduates – currently achieving 2:2 or above results & eligible for a 12 month placement as part of your University course
- Exceptional verbal, literacy and communication skills
- Experience using PowerPoint, Excel and Word is a must

How do internships work?
Internships allow you obtain real life work experience whilst gaining an insight into our overall business. You can expect to make a real contribution to the day-to-day operations of your team. This is a 12 month paid placement starting in summer 2014 at Ticketmaster HQ in Angel, North London.

How is your performance assessed?
Your objectives are clearly defined with you and your Line Manager at the start of your internship. Midway through your internship you will have a review with your Line Manager and your HR contact to evaluate your performance and give you some formal feedback. At the end of your internship we review your progress.
