LLM Scholarships are
available for the students from Turkey, Hong Kong, Thailand, Canada and
India to study at University of Southampton. The applicant must
demonstrate high academic merit by exceeding standard country entry
requirements for the LLM. If applicants are successful, this scholarship
will mean an automatic reduction of £3000 in their tuition fees. All
conditions of the offer, including criteria of the scholarships must be
met by 12th September 2014.
About Scholarship: Scholarships are open to applicants to any of the LLM programmes other than the distance learning. These Scholarships are offered at the discretion of the School of Law and the decisions as to the awards are final and not open to review. The School reserves the right not to award all or indeed any Scholarship(s) in any particular year.

Eligibility:
-The scholarships are limited to applicants from the following countries: Turkey, Hong Kong, Thailand, Canada and India.
-The applicant must demonstrate high academic merit by exceeding standard country entry requirements for the LLM. The minimum grades accepted for these Scholarships are as follows:
-Canada and Hong Kong (3.0/4.0 GPA or 1st class from a UK undergraduate degree);
-India [1st class from a UK undergraduate degree or exceed academic entry requirements (stated on your offer letter) by 5% or above from your undergraduate degree in India],
-Turkey (1st class from a UK undergraduate degree or 2.9/4.0 GPA from Top 10 or 3.2/4.0 GPA from others).
-Thailand (1st class from a UK undergraduate degree or 3.0/4.0 from Top 10 or 3.2/4.0 GPA from others or if you are currently studying an LLM in Thailand an overall GPA of 3.5/4.0 or if you are currently studying for an LLM in the UK an average of 70% or above in your taught modules).
