The UAB School of Business in the United Kingdom annually offers varied of scholarship award in business studies. Please find the list of scholarship below.

The following are the business scholarship awards that regularly offered in The UAB School of Business every year. Please find your relevant scholarships.

A.G. Gaston Endowed Memorial Scholarship
One scholarship is awarded to an African American student enrolling as a freshman or who is currently enrolled in the UAB School of Business. Student must take 24 – 30 semester hours per academic year. Recipients are eligible to re-apply in following years with total awards limited to no more than four years. Need and academic achievement are considered.

Beta Gamma Sigma Scholarship
The program is set up so that collegiate chapters select one student to receive the scholarship award. The competition is open to juniors, seniors and master’s students. Chapters can select a current chapter member, an alumnus of the chapter or a student who will be invited to become a BGS member during the spring of the nominating year. Each chapter’s scholarship recipient must complete the BGS scholarship application, including the required essay. However, chapters use various methods for selecting their recipients.

Edward M. Friend School of Business Scholarship Endowment
A variable gift will be awarded to a new or currently enrolled student in the School of Business. Applicatnts must have a 3.0 overall GPA.

John F. Breyer Endowed Scholarship
A scholarship of a variable amount is awarded to a currently enrolled or admitted student in the School of Business with a minimum 3.0 overall.

Journeyman Student Scholarship in Business
A scholarship of a variable amount is awarded to a junior or rising senior with a major in the School of Business. The recipient must be full time enrolled, exhibit leadership and have at least one year at UAB. A minimum 3.0 GPA overall is required.

M. Gene Newport Business Scholarship Endowment
$1,000 will be awarded to a regular, full-time entering freshman or transfer student in the School of Business for one academic year and is renewable for up to three consecutive years. The recipient must complete a minimum of 27 hours in one academic year and maintain a 3.0 GPA.

Marshall Endowed Scholarship
A scholarship of a variable amount will be awarded to an entering freshman or graduate student with the intent to pursue a degree from the UAB School of Business. Applicants must earn 27 hours and maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA.

Southern Pulp and Paper Industry Labor Management Endowed Scholarship
A scholarship of a variable amount is awarded to a currently enrolled or admitted student with a minimum 3.0 GPA overall. Preferred applicants are HR management majors and students who have worked in or have parents who have worked in a mill within the paper industry.

Pizitz Endowed Scholarship
$2,500 for four years is awarded to at least one entering freshman that intends to pursue a degree in the UAB School of Business, earns at least 27 hours per academic year and maintains a 3.0 GPA. Selection is based on grades, ACT or SAT scores, extra curricular activities, and career goals.

Rime Endowed Scholarship
$2,500 for four years is awarded to at least one entering freshman that intends to pursue a degree in the UAB School of Business, earns at least 27 hours per academic year and maintains a 3.0 GPA. Selection is based on grades, ACT or SAT scores, extra curricular activities, and career goals.

Robert E. and Diane Holmes Endowed Scholarship
A variable gift will be awarded to a new or currently enrolled student in the School of Business. Applicants must have a 3.0 overall GPA.

Roy S. Fogas Memorial Scholarship
Two to three scholarships valued at $1,000 each are awarded annually to currently enrolled UAB School of Business students entering their junior or senior year. Selection is based on academic promise, leadership potential and financial need. Awards are renewable so long as the recipient maintains a minimum overall GPA of 2.5 and an average 3.0 in his or her major.

Juanita and William H. Van Matre Endowed Scholarship
$1,000 is awarded to at least one entering freshman or transferring junior college student who intends to pursue a degree in the UAB School of Business. The recipient is preferred to be from a rural area and have good character. They must earn at least 27 hours per academic year and maintain a 3.0 GPA. Recipients are chosen based upon academic promise and need.

Victoria A. & Ralph A. Johnson Endowed Scholarship

A scholarship, vauled at $1,000 will be awarded to a student pursuing a degree within the School of Business or in the Department of Communication Studies within the School of Arts and Humanities. Applicants must have a 3.0 overall grade point average and be in good academic standing. Preference is given to applicants that are first generation college students, who are over 22 years of age, and who are current or previous union members or are a spouse or child of a current union member. The student must also demonstrate a commitment to education and evidence of previous success or project completion.

Young Men’s Business Club Endowed Scholarship

At least one scholarship valued at $2,000 is awarded annually to a currently full time enrolled UAB student In the School of Business who will be entering their junior or senior year. Selection is based on high academic standing, financial need, and community service.
