Eligibility:
-Scholarships will be awarded based on academic merit.
-Students must meet the eligibility criteria set by the CSC.
-Students must be applying to undertake research in one of the subject areas specified above.
-Students will normally be completing university study in China at Bachelor or Masters level, or in the first year of a PhD degree and under 35 years of age at the time of application.
Scholarship Open for: The students of China can apply for this scholarship.
About Scholarship: Sussex and the China Scholarship Council (CSC) offer a number of joint scholarships to research degree students and visiting research fellows from China.
Duration: Research students-for up to 36 months
-Visiting research students -for 6 – 24 months.
-Visiting research fellows/scholars-for between 3 – 12 months.
Value: Research students – full fees and living allowance for up to 36 months. Note: MPhil degrees are excluded.
-Visiting research students – full fees and living allowance for 6 – 24 months.
-Visiting research fellows/scholars – bench fees and living allowance for between 3 – 12 months.
-Under the Sussex/CSC Joint Scholarship Scheme, Sussex will cover full tuition, visiting or bench fees, subject to applicants obtaining CSC support. CSC will provide a living allowance.
-Sussex will cover full tuition fees / bench fees, CSC will provide a living allowance
