Call for internship 2013 @ Federation of Young European Greens in Belgium! Go for it…

What is it about?

The Greens/ EFA Group in the European Parliament has invited the Federation of Young European Greens to make a proposal for internship in order to ensure liaison to the FYEG and the targeted region (see below) and to ensure assistants and support in Parliamentarian work for the Group.

Profil of the intern: 

They are looking for a highly motivated intern from either Central – Eastern or Southern Europe, preferably knowledgeable on the subjects of youth (un-)employment and youth emancipation. The position is full time, but the working hours are flexible.
We are looking for an Intern that has following background and skills:
- Student with health insurance
- Preferably younger than 30 years old .
- A good knowledge of English language (written and oral) is necessary.
- Other EU languages are an advantage (German, French).
- Strong civil society involvement.
- Involvement or membership in Green Party or Green Youth organisation is an advantage.
- General knowledge on political science and strong interest in Green Politics.
- Good writing and computer skills.
- Experience with running online campaigns and decentralised actions
- Good organizational skills.
- Able to work independently, showing initiative and be able to work under pressure.

Contract:

This full-time internship is for a period of 4 months, starting from the end of March 2013 and ending end of July 2013.
The intern will receive a monthly allowance of 600EUR, and can, if he/she is not based in Brussels before taking up the internship, additionally ask for support for accommodation that cannot be more than 300EUR/month.
