PhD Studentships in Business Administration at University of Gothenburg, Sweden

The Department of Business Administration, School of Business, Economics and Law at University of Gothenburg provides PhD studentship in the area of Business Administration. Qualified and motivated individuals are required for these four PhD Studentships. A PhD studentship entails full-time work. Departmental duties may amount to a maximum of 20% of full time spread over the period of study. Applications should be submitted till 1 April 2014.
About Scholarship: Applications are invited for four full time PhD positions in The Department of Business Administration, School of Business, Economics and Law at at University of Gothenburg in Sweden. An employed doctoral student should primarily devote themselves to their own education. Only a person who is being admitted or already has been admitted to a third-cycle programme may be employed as a doctoral student.
Study: Studentship is awarded in the field of Business Administration. Course Level: Studentship is available for pursuing a PhD degree. Scholarship Provider: University of Gothenburg Scholarship can be taken at: Sweden Accreditation: Swedish business school that holds accreditation from AMBA.
Eligibility: The applicant must meet both the “General entry requirements” and the “Specific entry requirements”.
To meet the “general entry requirements” the applicant must have:
- a degree awarded at second-cycle (advanced level), or
- completed studies worth at least 240 higher education credits, of which at least 60 higher education credits are awarded at second-cycle level (advanced level), or
- an equivalent level of knowledge acquired in Sweden or in another country.
To meet the “specific entry requirements” the applicant must have at least 90 higher education credits in Business Administration or have equivalent qualifications.

Scholarship Open for: Swedish and international students are eligible to apply.
Number of awards: Four PhD studentships are available.
Duration: This PhD studentship is available for the period of four years.
Value: PhD studentships cover fixed-term employment.
Selection Criteria: The candidates will be evaluated on their ability to benefit from and utilize the research training. The selection of candidates will be based on an overall assessment of submitted documents.
