Search for Common Ground – Brussels Headquarters is seeking an intern
to provide support to the team’s overall fundraising and development
activities, with a special focus on SFCG’ outreach strategy.
The intern is supposed to start as soon as possible.
Responsibilities

Please note that the internship is unpaid. Special arrangement such as partial reimbursement might be put in place subject to funding.

Responsibilities
- Conduct desktop research related to fundraising, with a special focus on European bilateral donors;
- Identify and research opportunities for new program development and partnerships;
- Under the supervision of the Director, contribute to the implementation of the Outreach Strategy, including social media tools, newsletters, updating SFCG’s website,
- Represent Search for Common Ground at relevant events and public meetings and take notes when requested;
- Maintain and update computerized database of donors and prospects;
- Provide administrative support to the office.
- As job descriptions cannot be exhaustive, the position-holder may be required to undertake other duties that are broadly in line with the above key duties.
- BA or MA in International Relations or Communications (or current student in the same disciplines);
- Written and spoken fluency in English and French;
- Advanced computer skills.
- A self-starting, enthusiastic and flexible work style;
- Demonstrable interest in conflict resolution and peacebuilding;
- Superb writing, editing and communication skills;
- Attention to detail;
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and tight deadlines.
